The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is an initiative of the African Union to create a single continent-wide market for goods, services, capital and people. It represents the world's largest free-trade zone in terms of the number of participating countries, thus promoting African economic integration.

L'Egypt occupies a geostrategic position with the Suez Canalan essential link between Africa, Europe and Asia.
